Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combo Challenge: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, and Sage Shadow.... I added Blush Blossom as a neutral for the face and hands.
As soon as I saw this color combo, all I could think of was the SU! Boho Collection. I even had the papers and stamps on my desk...Then, I put them away. I really didn't want to make ANOTHER Boho card...
So, I reached for this little Lady Liberty by H&M Stamps! I love her! I had her colored Sage Shadow, right down to the face and hands....Then, Speedy the Cat took one look and snickered...I heard him tell YumYum, "Boy, the Fat Cat Lady has really lost it this time! She colored that Statue of Liberty stamp ALL WRONG! She's NOT supposed to be the REAL statue. She's supposed to be a little girl DRESSED as the statue!"
Yes, now I'm getting artistic advice from the CATS! I need a vacation!
So.... Lydia, the girl dressed as Lady Liberty, was stamped in Basic Black and colored with SU! markers. I cut her out and layered her on the ovals with dimensionals.
The Sage Shadow panel was crumpled and then smoothed out. I rubbed a Sage Shadow and then a Chocolate Chip Classic pad over the panel to create the "weathered look." (I thought it looked liked the oxidized copper of the Statue of Liberty...)
The small oval was cut with the Coluzzle. The larger ovals were punched with Marvy punches.

What do I think? ummmmm....I think you have done another awesome job here!!! Love the colors. Crumpling the paper and then rubbing it with color is really a neat idea. Like the look of that. Love the whole card and all your special details you do. TFS :0)
