I donÂ’t usually flip the sketch for the SC but I tell ya, itÂ’s been one mistake after another with this card. ROX FORGOT A PANEL! Now how would that look for the hostess to mess up the layout! LOL!
So I flipped the sketch to make room for the already prepared panel that I was going to use no matter what and still follow the layout.
It is the kittyÂ’s fault the image panel is crooked! Just one of those days!
Jan, if you read this...teacher messed up!
Measurements: paw prints 3 ½” x 4 ¾”, kitty image panel 3 3/8” x 1 ¾”, cross panel is 1 ¼” wide (remember this must be smaller if you create with the layout flipped.)
-The image is colored with watercolor crayons and artist brush.
-I cut the ‘out of the box’ images by cutting to the image on my guillotine style paper cutter. I previously held the image up to the light source (window) and marked the image on the back so I flip it over to the back side and cut to the marked image spot.
-For between the image lines (example: stem to leaf) I lined up a straight cut Coluzzle template with the previous cuts and made my cut. Then cut the images out with the scissors. Very simple procedure!
-The color for the sky and grassy area are sponged on; a handmade cloud template was used.
-The foot prints panel is the Fiskars embossing plate run through the Cuttlebug. I then placed it on the inked up background, covered with scrap paper and lightly run my hand over it so not much gets on the un embossed area. This does work better when the Cuttlebug embossing folders are used.
-The large leaf and flower to the right have tiny squares of cardstock stacked under them to keep the dimension. The smaller leaf is just glued to the cardstock. The bottom flowers are also glued to the cardstock.
-Ink distressing of its own color was done on the apricot panels.

I've lost track of my day, Rox. I know I looked at your sample card earlier, but have had such a crazy day at work and can't remember if I posted a comment. So, rather than wade through all these pages, I prefer to post twice as opposed to not at all.
I love your sweet and adorable card! The color combo is fab, and that image is too cute! You have such a wonderful way with bringing everything together.
