Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge: Water + Sand= Follow the List. Participants were to use only Blues, Greens, Grays, sand and Neutrals. They were also to use ribbon, brads and piercing.
I REALLY wanted to use this photo I took in my former life, (when I was married to my ex-husband.) I remember going out on the helicopter with my FIL, (he was my traveling companion.) I took 14 rolls of film of Lady Liberty that afternoon. When I saw the requirements for this challenge I KNEW I had to use one of my photos. I printed off my photo on Color Copier paper (80lb), and cut to size. Next, I stamped the silhouette image in Memento ink's Cocoa. I sponged in color for the sky and the grass....This photo is NOT to scale, as I cut off the bottom of the statue's base and added in the "grass." The papers are K&Company.

Your creative juices are always flowing but today--an absolute gusher! Everything from the photo to the hand coloring to the layout/layering is pure creative genius. A real stunner of a card from a talented photographer.
