Critiques welcome! Thanks so much in advance! I think I will use one for my personal Christmas cards-I will add dazzling diamonds to the star as well. (The colors match my DD's Christmas dresses) I'd especially like opinions of:
Velvet vs. taffeta (both ribbons are mellow moss--the velvet does look a bit olive in the picture)
Black swirly in the background? yes or no
Adore (in pink) to the left or somewhat centered?
Could I add paper piercing anywhere? Suggestions of spots or would it be too busy?
Hugs to all who answer-I know I'm a pain in the hiney!

very nice either way really. if i had to chose, i would go with taffeta ribbon, adore to the left, and no black swirls. great job! love that you matched it to your daughters dresses.

I think that the one on the left is simple yet elegant. The focal point is on the little town. I also like the knot to the left, it helps keep your eyes in the middle where they need to be. It's hard to decide though, because I also like some of the things you did to the card on the right. I do like the fact that by adding the black swirls, it makes the background stand out more. Maybe though instead of black so that it doesn't conflict with the town too much try a little darker green or pink. I also think that 2 brads of the darker color used would look nice in the top right hand corner in that little area by the bible verse, and above the town. These are some things I might would try. Wonderful work. Thanks for showing.

I like them both. The one with the black swirly you could leave out and that would do it fine. They are both really pretty cards though. I have this set as well and looking for a different way to make some as well.
