Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge: Water + Sand= Follow the List. Participants were to use only Blues, Greens, Grays, sand and Neutrals. They were also to use ribbon, brads and piercing.
I REALLY wanted to use this photo I took in my former life, (when I was married to my ex-husband.) I remember going out on the helicopter with my FIL, (he was my traveling companion.) I took 14 rolls of film of Lady Liberty that afternoon. When I saw the requirements for this challenge I KNEW I had to use one of my photos. I printed off my photo on Color Copier paper (80lb), and cut to size. Next, I stamped the silhouette image in Memento ink's Cocoa. I sponged in color for the sky and the grass....This photo is NOT to scale, as I cut off the bottom of the statue's base and added in the "grass." The papers are K&Company.

This is so awesome....! I love how it made me stop and think about all that is going on right now for us as a nation and how much the children of the world don't realize just how simple and important their freedoms are. Thanks, Faith... your card was a welcome surprise this morning!

This card is so unbelievable. Wow - your cards are always stunning but this one is really, really stunning. I give it a 10 out of 10 (really like a 12). I love how you used that cute silhouette parade stamp at the bottom of the statue picture and your colors are just awesome. WOW again.
