I made a faux layer by making a reverse mask using the largest rectangle from my Nestabilities classic rectangles set. Then, I used removable adhesive to secure it to my caramel layer. I painted the opening with sandstone acrylic paint and let it dry. Then, I used the same die to emboss around my painted rectangle. The embossed edges were sponged and the leaves were rock n rolled before stamping. The awesome flourish and leaves are from the new Jeanne Streiff collection at Rubbernecker Stamp Co.
I am so late in running errands and getting a kid to the dentist, I will be back later to comment and Blog
the complete details.
