The floral background for this card has a tapestry effect. I stamped Floral BG using Craft Creamy Caramel ink on Confetti Cream CS. Over this I stamped some Blossoms from heartfelt Thanks in Classic Night of Navy randomly over the Caramel Floral design. I stamped some leaves in Always Artichoke Classic using the little leaf stamp from Wild Rose. The centers of the navy flowers are Cranberry Crisp. Over all of this, I stamped Linen BG in Night of Navy. For a final touch to bring it all together, I stamped French Script BG over the whole quarter sheet and embossed it in Gold Detail EP. It has a rich elegant look to it.. For the main image, I used similar colors for the flower image as in the background. However, I stamped the outline stamp in VersaMark and embossed it in Gold Detail EP. I ran a little Rouch Edges wheel in Creamy Caramel to soften the image. I used some Gold Stickles on the flower and leaves. I am so pleased with the result and hope you will enjoy it too!

This is a truly beautiful card!! It really inspires me to try this technique. Your colour choices are fantastic. You should be very proud of yourself. Very elegant.
I am brand new to stamping and have been scrolling through the galleries to learn about different techniques and styles and how been wowed by your work! I have to ask?? You MUST have a background in art??? In pastels, watercolor??
I wish I lived in Durham to take a class, I'm in Hagerstown and the local classes are not NEARLY as cool as what you are doing :(
Do you post any instructions online or could I purchase a kit from you?>?? lmk
