WT660 challenge-It' in My Favorites--Go through your favorites and create a card from another artist. My card is one from hobbydujour's gallery. It is a bluebird and she had cased the card from Lisa (Shoe Girl) for a featured stamper card. *FS454 HYCCT1518 Bluebird by hobbydujour at Splitcoaststampers I chose it for the bluebird and used my own design.
I love this stamp and have seen it used the way I am using it and also turned so the tree stands upward and the bird looks downward. I also love the Eastern bluebird (my favorite). I know he lives in open country and farmland near trees. Today he lit for a moment in the underbrush of the trees. The stamp doesn't say Eastern Bluebird but that is what it looks like to me so I colored it that way.
I'm also doing Stacy's (Twinshappy) monthly Christmas challenge. I love the theme which is Bbrrrrr. Think snowflakes, winter scenes, snowmen, mittens, scarves, anything that makes you cold.
CT1017--November's Fan Club central theme-I'm going with anything that gives you shivers. Snow and cold weather certainly give me shivers.

So love that wonderful bird stamp and your lovely coloring and shading...your watercolor sky is wonderful and the snow flurries so realistic! Image is enhanced with your kraft mat...makes the bird pop right off the card!

What a gorgeous card this is Brenda. The way you color your images is so inspiring because you are able to capture all the depth and emotion of the image too. I am still learning how to do that. I would never have thought to turn this image the way you did and I love the effect of that. The addition of the snow is fantastic- I love that! I am so thrilled I found this card in your gallery. ~Karen.
