Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.
Markie is MUCH better. He even went to school! However, he came home and feel asleep on the sofa for HOURS! Then, he woke up with a slight fever, just 102 degrees. So, a little fever reducer and a cool shower, and he's back to normal. It's after midnight and he's doing homework. Poor kid. It was bothering him so much that he couldn't sleep.
And, I KNOW exactly how he feels, because this stamp set is a sneak peek for next week's release and it has been KILLING me NOT to use it! So, when I saw the sketch I thought, "Okay, I'm using that set!" I almost jumped off my chair I was so excited!
To start, I stamped the images in Adirondack's Espresso. Next, I tore a scrap paper and used my Copic Airbrush to create the grasses. Next, I punched a 1 1/2" hole in a scrap and used the paper as a reverse mask by spraying in the circle with Copics to create the sun. Then, I put the punched hole over the new sun and sprayed around it.
The embossed panel was created with a Sizzix Texture Folder. I rubbed the Espresso pad over the embossed areas.
Finished card size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Total time to complete: 44 minutes

You are such an incredible artist. I love the vertical perspective, the coloring, the focal point elephant. Beautiful embellishments and texture. Fantastic, every single detail.
