Well I want to learn to fly so I 'm bringing 4 sweet little Winter Robin's to the teaparty, I couldn't find any finches to bring. "Below is your finch, Don't worry it's a Cinch" - confused go Here
This week our cards are being sent to Linda T, who lives in San Antonia, Texas. She has been battling Cancer since May, and her dear Mother passed away during this time. Linda is currently in a nursing facility and needs additional cancer treatments. Hopefully our cards will give her a little something to look forward to each day.
This is also for today's colour challenge - real red, old olive, river rock and Nuetrals of choice.
Plus I did the Faux Tile technique on the base card - this weeks technique challenge TLC301.
I stamped the winter robins on water colour paper with Versafine Onyx black ink and clear embossed. Water coloured image with Stampin up and Towbow markers. Sponged on the clouds with Soft sky ink. Added Diamond Stickles to the holly berries. Matted image with red gemstone paper. Sewed edges. Stamped sentiment and punched out 1" circle. Pierced around circle and faux stitched. Inked up edge of circle with red Tombow Marker. Added stickles around edge of circle. Image panel and sentiment are popped up.
On the faux tile panel - I used River Rock cardstock. Scored the lines for the tiles. Stamped on the Holly leaves. Coloured leaves and berries. Stamped itty bitty background dots over entire panel with River Rock Ink. Used a light grey Tombow marker and drew around the embossed grid tile lines. Sponged around the tile edges with river rock. Used a white gel pen in the tile grooves to highlight the grouting.
Thanks for looking, happy creating.
Hugs.. Pat
