I made this for my oldest son's birthday. Adam will be 23 tomorrow, and what an early Mother's Day present for me....he's coming home! He is in college and has a job and hardly ever gets to come home anymore. I am so happy that we will get to be with him on his birthday!
I am also happy that the challenge today allowed us to use the crimper...I needed a masculine card, so obviously, ruffles wouldn't work. I crimped the panel under the shells, and colored the images with watercolor pencils and an aqua painter.
All three of my boys always liked collecting shells when we went to the beach, so I hope he will like it. I hope you do, too. TFL!

This is gorgeous!! A total WOW! The detail is incredible -- the sanded bg, the raffia, the different punches behind the hardware, crimping. It all comes together perfectly!

Your card is beautiful. I just bought the sanded background and can't put it down. My favorite set is "seaside", so your card is a personal favorite - even the colors! Congratulations on your son's success in school and work and have a great Mother's Day.
