I came home to find this sitting on the table that my 11 yr old DS (who wants to be an artist and farmer when he grows up) made for my niece's bd which is later this month! I love it!!!!!! He totally did the whole thing on his own! Not to be biased or anything, but MAN he is good. LOL!! I colors better than I do w/ the prismas and gamsol!!
another thing (sorry can't keep bragging Ü) is that the plaid is not where the card opens, it opens by the tag, pull it and the pink part opens where he wrote Happy Birthday Emma!
I just keep looking at the shading he did and am in awe!

WOW Crissy! Thank you so much for your kind words. Aaron is just beaming!
He didn't talk until he was 3.5 yrs old and would draw things he wanted and we knew exactly what it was. He continues to amaze us! He will sit down and draw things and get them perfect and he is just drawing from memory or whatever is in his head! LOL!!
For Christmas/bd (his bd is Dec 2, I plan to take him to art classes for adults at the local highschool. I figured it would be fun to do together as he probably wouldn't want to go alone and be the only child. The classes start the first of the year and I am looking forward to going myself. He has been wanting to learn watercoloring, so we will see how it goes. I'm sure his will FAR exceed anything I can do! LOL!!
