Stef came up with some BEAUTIFUL colors for this week's color challenge: Blushing Bride, Night of Navy and Very Vanilla.
I used the colors in my sea and sky and then used the Gouache technique described by Lydia in her MIX challenge last week. All my blue paint was dark when it first went on, but the gouache and water lightened it up.
Next I stamped in the boats and a sentiment from LilyPad Lake and framed it up with some scrap paper that looked more vanilla then my water colors.
Put it all together and had a smudge! Urgh. So then I added some more water colors to the sides to cover my smudge.
I can't wait to see what you all come up with! Hugz

Oh, sweet Nancy, this is GORGEOUS! In real life it's far more beautiful, and Walt loved it...and I love it!
