This is my inspiration found from the site: http://studioefabrics.net/christmas-village-scenic/
See the house on the bottom right with trees around it...well, I was inspired by it and kind of did a scene like it.
I am in a dp mood (think it is because of seeing Cheryl (CheryQuilts) using it and wanted to use this plaid. I sponged the sky, added the falling snow with white Gelly Roll pen. I made a template for the snowbanks and sponged them. Then, I stamped the trees. I put the cabin together and gave it some smoke from the die I mentioned below. Colored cabin with Copics. I made a little branch of water behind the house with Copics but it is hardly visible.

A lovely and cheerful scene! Love the plaid dsp background...it certainly adds to your wintery scene. Your elements in your cabin picture from the sky and trees to the snowy banks and cabin are delightful. Looks like a warm and welcoming little cabin...perfect to spend your Christmas holidays with family! Count me IN!!!
