This is for Sabrina's challenge and what a challenge it was! This is about my 5th attempt at getting collage stamping right. I love the end results, but boy did I struggle.
I frequently use 6 or 7 stamps on the one card, but that is to create a scene. Using 6 or 7 stamps to create a collage is soooooo different.
I pre-cut 3 pieces of card stock about 5"x7"each. When I know I'm going to do something messy I always cut extra cardstock for the left over ink, paint etc.
I stamped the Lavina Stamp eye first using Memento ink. I then did a quick dunk into a puddle of heavily diluted purple and orange distress inks. I hit all the pieces with the heatgun, then continued to stamp all the other images.
Even by my standards, these are too weird as a card, but I thought they would make cool bookmarks - hence all the ribbon. The little gift card came about because I kept trimming the collage until it looked right. I would have stopped at ATC size.
Tip: Buy seam binding, twine, ribbon etc in white or cream colour, it's quick and easy to dye. Smack a distress ink pad onto a piece of foil / mat, squirt on some water. Cut a length of seam binding, scrunch it in your hand and squirt the exposed part, then dunk into the inky puddle. The colour will be variegated because you only pre-wet part of it.
Copics colour up seam binding in a flash too.
Thank you for looking.

Yes, the eyes are a bit disconcerting at first, but looking closer they become such beautiful images. All three pieces are so intriguiing with the various elements you added to each. Love the colors, the sparkle and the ribbon and feather decoration on the tags. I feel like an echo but have to say these are absolutely stunning!
