I have wanted to try this technique that is all the rage but when I did I was a wee bit disappointed.....I did the one first where you just stamp all over the paper and then raise the words up and it was just too busy for me.....one of those things i like when other people do it but when I try....not so much......so I put my own little twist on the technique and stamped all over one page and then cut the letters out of that one but then put them down on one that was only stamped with the wood background and I liked this one better. In the end I piddled a whole day away playing with variations of this techinique and I was like......MEH. Anyway it's okay- just not worth an entire Saturday?? MEH. Happy Tuesday everyone!!

I like the "restrained color", too! Love the bits of sunflowers on each letter instead of being overwhelmed with pattern and color. And Hardwood may be my favorite SU background stamp ever...
