September has been a fun month and has quickly vanished before my very eyes. I'm sad because this is the fourth and final week of my time as a guest designer. It's also the last week of September, summer is gone and fall is upon us. At least Stef gave us some wonderful colors, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, and Fresh Fig. Unfortunately, I didn't have any of the colors so I got as close as I could. I wasn't sure about the dessert being metallic so I hope my metal wheelbarrow will get me some cookies. When these little Critters finish with their square dance, I think they'll have worked up an appetite from all the picking and playing.

Techniques
I tried Dini's tutorial to watercolor the image and then use pencils.
*I first used SU markers and a aqua brush with the basic black.
*Next I used prisms pencils to color the animals and shade the straw...this wasn't the easiest thing I've tried lately...get ready for the colors.
Canary yellow # 916, Spanish Orange #1003, Peach Clair # 927,
Goldenrod # 1034, Siena Brown # 946, warm gray # 1054, & # 1056, and
Parma Violet # 932, Mulberry # 995, Rouge Pavot # 922, White # 11. Wow!!!
I used black memories ink to stamp the animals and Versa Mark for the signs and embossed with brown embossing powder.
Thanks for looking. Please take a minute to leave a comment, I always enjoy hearing what you talented ladies have to say.
Happy Stamping... see you in the gallery Tonda

Oh, Tonda, this is absolutely DARLING! You did a fabulous job with the colors, and I love all the sweet and fun details of this card! What a giggle to read the "signs" and see all these animals having such fun! I used to love hayrides! Adorable!! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo

I'm so taken with these colors! Then I read of your mix of coloring techniques ... no wonder! I may take a test drive of mixing coloring mediums on the image in front of me .... but I'm willing to bet that it might take more than the few minutes left at my stampy table today! LOL Thanks for inspiring!
