This is for my new little great-niece Milla Elizabeth. Milla's beautiful mum, Kristy, is the only member of my entire family that keeps cards LOL so it was a genuine honour to spend so much time making this.
The fold is a standard side step card, but instead of having the steps to the side, you cut it twice so the steps end up in the middle.
The legs were made using a Stampin Up tag punch. The little dresses were hand drawn and cut out, using distress ink to give the illusion of pleats, lace was added to the hems.
The coat handers were made with jewellry wire, they took about 10 seconds to make. Had I known how quick and easy they are to make I wouldn't own 10 packets of expensive shop bought ones (that are too big) LOL.
The card base is very heavy craft card, I painted it with Distress paint to give a vintage look. I noticed the rough scored card at the top of the wardrobe, I have since filed that off.
This was a real joy to make, thank you for looking.

I bow to your greatness and abilities. I love the balance you achieved with the dp and your faux pleated dresses are adorable. So precious Susie... Time to package and sell your own hangers or go into the furniture business my dear. So sweet and creative. This truly made me smile this morning... Hugs

A joy for you to make, and I am sure an even bigger joy for Kristy, and later for little Milla to enjoy. What a fabulous, creative piece of art. So many beautiful details and wonderful soft little girl colors. Those little dresses are darling. Every detail just perfect.

Oh Susie this is so darling and what a great vintage feel. I am sure your niece will just love this and what a treasure you created. That lace on the bottom is the perfect finishing touch for those darling dresses. I totally agree it is super easy to make the hangers and making them ourselves could really save some money on buying the premade ones. Super darling card Miss Susie!

Beautiful Card Susie!!! I know not everyone in my family and not all my friends keep my card. I just don't want to know if they throw it away.
I'm so glad a card that is so wonderful will be kept!!!
