For the IC these stripes reminded me of the paper I used on the card, IÂ’ve had this paper for years in at least two colors which was gifted to me and I finally used some.
I did a similar card using the shadow stamping with the trees from this Stampin Up set and really liked it so I thought IÂ’d try it with the flowers. Shadow stamping is very easy, just stamp the image with colored ink. Stamp again with your heat embossing ink and off set the image from the first stamping, pour on the powder and heat. I then sponge on the colored ink I used the first time and itÂ’s ready for your card. I saw this idea on Pinterest but didnÂ’t find any directions and for me figuring out how to do it is half the fun!
A little sponging was also done on the dry embossed horizontal panel. That’s the Tim Holtz/Sizzix embossing folder – Gridlock and I use both front and back designs depending on my mood I guess!
The Perfect Layers tools from Perfect Paper Crafting was used to cut the 1/16”, 1/8” 3/16” borders. Use any brand craft knife or rotary cutter for cutting. A tutorial video can be found on the company site.

Roxie,
This is the first time I've seen this card. A stunningly beautiful, and serene card. Just beautiful! The dp and your focal image are so complimentary in style and repeat color. It's a wonderful card! A real favorite for me too.
