I had some October Afternoon dp scraps that came pretty close to todayÂ’s Color Challenge colors of Pool Party, Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight so I stitched them together for the card base after distressing the edges. I masked the single daisy head image so that I could add three in the jar, and drew in some stems, then used the same mask to sponge Distress ink around the edges of the circle.
The jar has a layer of Clear Gloss on it to give the look of glass.
The seam binding has been dyed to match with Copic ink BG10 – used the method of putting it in a plastic bag, squirting in the ink, and crinkling it up, taught to me by Stampertammy!
More details about this card on my blog.

Fabulous coloring, Bridget! I love the stitched BG strips for the daisy jar! The yellow shading around the circle is wonderful and so is that custom dyed seam binding!

Wow Bridget the way you used the colors and the coloring on the jar is beautiful. I love the sewing. You are so good at it. The verse is powerful. Lovely card.
