Hi! This card was made for today's Ways to Use It Challenge: Sterling Silver and this week's Stampin' B's Challenge to make a Celebration card.
Well...I must say, Christmas went by without much hoopla. Mark made his Famous Quiche and a Honey Ham. Markie got his 20 pairs of socks and 10 pairs of boxer briefs-Hey, he ASKED for them!-and so many video games that I'm reluctant to tell you. (You'd think I'm spoiling him!) Dad came over for less than an hour and then just had to go back home. Oh, and my special gift? It was a FRIED TURKEY! YES! The Marks made a fried turkey for ME! And, they let me pick it DRY! (They ate the Honey Ham! And, it was all a surprise!) Those stinkers! I LOVE them!!!!
This card has a LOT of silver accents. There is silver cording, silver half pearls (on the sentiment and the butterfly), and there are 4 silver brads! I stamped the background of the focal panel with the vine from Brick Wall and colored with Copics. Next, I colored in the Celebrate portion of the sentiment from Cupcake Birthday with a marker and stamped it. The butterfly was stamped on scrap paper and colored with Copics. I cut it out and adhered it with pop dots.
Finished card size: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Total Time to Complete: 38 minutes. There are a LOT of dots on this one!
