Hi! This card was made for today's Featured Stamper Challenge: LisaADD. I chose THIS CARD to CASE, (Copy And Share Everything).
Have you ever been in DEEP sleep to be awoken by the words, "Mom! There are Police Cars EVERYWHERE outside!"???? Well...I was.. about 35 minutes ago! I swear, Markie has mastered the "GIVE MOM A HEART ATTACK " technique! LOL Oh, it was our elderly neighbor's house. He lives alone and has a security system that triggers a silent alarm if there is movement in his home. Well, he has a CAT that often sneaks out of the gentleman's bedroom and the bugger sets off the alarm! So, the police come around about once every other month. And, you know what??? The DOGS...all FOUR OF THEM, didn't even bark! Yep...all four are snoring in their kennels...It's embarrassing...Even Mark slept through it this time!
So...I was awake and decided to participate in the this challenge. I used the Spellbinders die as a mask and stamped in the tree from Broom Rides...Yes, it's a HALLOWEEN stamp set! LOL It looks lik a tree branch hanging there, and I think I'm going to be making a BUNCH of these quick cards tomorrow! Next, I tore a scrap piece of copy paper to create a mask for the snow. I used my Copic Airbrush and LIGHTLY sprayed a lighter blue for the sky. Next, I removed the mask and ever so slightly sprayed the snow with the same marker. I used a square Nestie as a guide for the straight line box around the scene. Next, I embossed the right edge of the focal image with a Tim Holtz Sizzix Texture Fades folder. To finish, I added Inkssentials highlights as snow on the branches and added half pearls to the snow flakes.
Changes: stamp set (I used MFP's Broom Rides and Bells on Bobtail), added ribbon and embossing.
What do you think?
Finished card size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Total time to complete: 14 minutes.

Wow, Faith. This is so pretty. I am hoping that it looks like that outside my window once this hideous blizzard (practically) is over. Snow looks much nicer on your card than in real life. Awesome creation.

Beautiful case Faith. I really love the added snowflake embossing at the bottom. My jaw dropped when I read the it only took 14 minutes to make. It would take me that long just to decide what sentiment to use. LOL
