Sorry it's another Braille card! I promised I'd upload my friend Geoff's Christmas card though, so here it is. I used this week's sketch for the layout, so I put on a lot more layers than I usually do!
I took up a couple of suggestions (thank you Susan and Krista!) and did the short word 'Joy' in Braille with the brads. I used a digital image of a branch (so I could resize it) and positioned the brads so they look a bit like berries visually, but Geoff will feel the Braille as usual.
Also used my brand new Big Shot (aren't I a lucky girl?) and embossed dots on the 1st layer, but reversed it on the card so it doesn't feel like Braille!
Thanks for popping in to look!

What a beautiful and thoughtful card!! I am so enjoying these cards for Geoff as my Mom went totally and unexpectedly blind this past April. Your cards are truely an inspiration.
My Mom can't read braille, and since she is almost 86, I doubt that she ever will, so I just add texture that she can feel. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cards.

I see that while I was away from the galleries nursing my elbow back to health, you were busy adding many amazing creations to your gallery. This is simply amazing - I bet it was a huge hit with your friend. A visual treat for us, and a tactile treat for him! Wonderful!
