I made this birthday card for my DH who is an avid golfer. Using my computer, I printed the definition of "sand trap" directly onto forest foliage cs. With each row, I offset the definition by a few words so that consecutive lines would not be exactly the same. The dark green of the slide mount is its natural color. The golf ball is mounted using a dimensional. The sand came out of a sand trap on the golf course on which we live.

I just love everything about this card. It will become my DH's birthday card. Funny, we also live on a golf course, but it won't be easy to get sand under 3 feet of snow
Maybe I'll just have to fake it with some sand paper.
Thanks for the inspiration.
