Hello everyone!
This is my submission for today's WT182. We were to use hoarded fancy paper... and I chose this Pearlized Metallic by DCWC. I had bought a pack of this and it was expensive... and I have never used one piece! So thank you for the push!
I also used yesterday's sketch and since I had not gotten to play Monday... I tried a first try on the Black Magic Technique. That is way cool! I did stamp an extra image and cut out the moths and added them for extra dimension. The Lunar moth actually is partially behind an Iris petal so I used my Fiskars finger blade to slit the image and slipped the moth's tail down behind the petal. To color using the black magic technique, you stamp on black with craft ink. When it's dry you use Prisma Pencils (or equivalent) dipped in gamsol and color in the images. It is a neat effect! After I colored the image I painted the whole thing with Shimmerz to help it shine a bit... since it's on such shimmery bg paper.
For the sketch I scored 4 lines on the lower side to simulate another panel, because I could not find a paper that held it's own with this metallic. Then I covered that all up with a shimmery ribbon, but you can see the lines through the ribbon IRL.
I cannot get a photo this morning that shows the shimmer of this paper... but irl it is so pretty. I also ran it through the cb with the sentiment at the bottom and used a glitter gel pen on that for added sparkle.
Hope you like it! Thanks for looking!

Grace, this is beyond beautiful! The paper is beautiful, but your coloring is what sets it off. Stunning work!
