here is a combined challenge card: using vellum (DTGD08Laurie), using fun ribbon (DTGD08Jody) and the sketch. I kinda cheated...I didn't base everything around my ribbon at first...but once I decided a few details, the ribbon brought the rest of the card together.
The vellum technique is from the new Stampin' Success. I will call it ghosted vellum...they don't really give it a formal name. I played and played with difft colors and images and finally was happy with this. Vellum is brayered in tangerine and while wet, clean dry image stamps ink off; gets cleaned and then repeat. I used the dotted outlines with the full strength ink over the top. It was fun!
Out with the old (DP and ribbon) and in with the new (tangerine tango and technique to me). TFLooking and happy stamping!

I'd be pretty happy w/this one myself, Mel! I think it's just fabulous! Love all those different colors together and your funky ribbon. It's probably okay that you cheated. Dont we all when it comes to the challenge ?
