This challenge intrigued me when I saw it this morning. I had bought the Close to Cocoa dsp and when I got it, wasn't sure how I would use it. I thought of it and figured it would really be a challenge for me to use it. It wasn't hard at all!
The bg panel was done by stamping the image over and over on the sc using Close to Cocoa pigment ink and embossed with clear ep. I also embossed the skinny panel the same way. Before doing the background panel I had embossed just a single image and decided not to use it. I ended up punching out an oval using it with the small SU oval punch and offset it on the large Close to Cocoa oval which I mounted on dimensionals. I sponged Classic CtC ink around edges of bg panel only. The taffeta ribbon came to me looking 2 toned... wove with white and Close to Cocoa. It wasn't the solid rich brown I had seen it to be on the site and in the caddy. I took the Close to Cocoa marker and made it solid. I like it a lot better.
