This card covers 2 challenges, yesterday's color challenge, Black, Gray & Purely Pomegranate, and today's sketch challenge. It is a RAK for a fellow SCSer who is quite sick and could use some cheer. If you would like to send her a card, too, here is the link to Cindy's (Mothermark) card, with the link to the thread about her. Happy Thoughts for Blooming Flowers by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
I stamped the sentiment (*After the showers, the smell of flowers.*) in embossed sliver on a vellum tag, with a flower from the DP Stella Ruby mounted undernteath it. It's very subtle, but looks pretty IRL. The main flower images I stamped in Versamark and embossed in a mixture of Detail Silver, Pink, and a tiny bit of Burgundy EP, which gives it a softer, more mottled look. Edges are distressed; images popped up on Pop Dots, and lots of cool embellies added for fun!
Hope she likes it; hope you do too! Thanks for looking!
Maddy

Beautiful! I thought about using this stamp too but only got as far as laying it on the counter. It works really great for this sketch. Love all the extra details you added!

Oh Maddy, the floral vellum sentiment almost made me cry! So beauiful and the metal floral embellishment is so lovely. What a gorgeous card!
