This is a wonderful sketch, Roxie! Thank you so much. Imagination, what is it and where does it come from? Can we grow it, are we inspired by it? All questions floating 'round my mind in the middle of the night. I'll be keeping this card out where I can see it, for awhile to remind me to look beyond what I think I see.
The beautiful embossed sticker was the beginning of my card. It is a K&co classic. I built a frame around it using one of Purple Onions journal stamps and nested rectangles underneath. My base is unknown black with a floral pattern from Basic Grey Pheobe next. I cuttledbugged this with the new birds and vines embossing folder and a serendipity that the bird is sitting on the edge of the top black scallop! My classic thinking man is Stamp in the Hands' Avant-Garde #1. I stamped him on Pheobe pink in Adirondack Pitch Black. My gears are from SU's It's About Time. I love that you can set the little hands to a date. These images were stamped on purely pomegranate with Brilliance Ink coffee bean and embossed in clear. YES, I did exacto the gears. The bling brads are from MM. It is popped on foam
I applaud each of you for displaying your imaginations on a regular basis...I love to see what you create. I am always thankful for your comments

Susan, what wonderfully personal insight as to who you are: Love the imaginative concept you've got going on here. As usual, it's a gift to our gallery.
Did you see NancyRuth's comments about your gallery! You rock, girl, that's no doubt about that! Tfs

Oh yeah- straight to my favs. so I can examine it in detail! (Scrolling up and down to look . . .) Oh my word! You exacto-ed the gears! I'm not sure if you're supremely talented or insanely nuts! LOL! Maybe a little bit of both? I wanna be that nuts too! I was wondering if they were die cuts, and now I know! Anyway, I love the depth and dimension, the dreamy philosophical images, the colors- it's all just so much fun! Oh yeah, (looking again) I love how you did the bg- now I have to have MORE bg paper, and MORE CB folders! Gee, thanks! :-D Just wonderful! Hugggs and TFS this incredible journey into your imagination, and fabulous card!!
