Critiques welcome! Thanks so much in advance! I think I will use one for my personal Christmas cards-I will add dazzling diamonds to the star as well. (The colors match my DD's Christmas dresses) I'd especially like opinions of:
Velvet vs. taffeta (both ribbons are mellow moss--the velvet does look a bit olive in the picture)
Black swirly in the background? yes or no
Adore (in pink) to the left or somewhat centered?
Could I add paper piercing anywhere? Suggestions of spots or would it be too busy?
Hugs to all who answer-I know I'm a pain in the hiney!

I really like the one on the left with NO black swirlies, taffeta ribbon, and "Adore" on the left. I don't think it needs anything else, but if you are dying to add some piercing, I might try it on your main image, at the top left and bottom right corners.
They're both wonderful, but I prefer the one on the left, without the swirls. It lets me focus more on the scene. I also like the adore more off center.

While both cards are very pretty and I'd proudly put them on my mantelpiece, I agree with Jennifer (jkincolorado).
Velvet is a more formal element and the Bethlehem stamp is not. Also the taffeta is lighter so it doesn't draw the eyes away from the image. The black swirls would do that too.

1. WOW, two cards that we get to critique!!!
2. love your 2 main panels, would not change a thing !!!
3. for the ribbon, both are fine although the tafetta is more my taste for this card.
4. for the BG, would not add black and prefer to use ony mellow moss and the word adore in pink, only because i would like the sentiment to stand out.
5. thanks for letting us critique your work, rhonda
