Just couldn't bring myself to pay $40-$60 plus shipping on a HOLDER for my ink pads. So I designed my own from foam core. It's sturdy enough for my purposes, looks nice, and cost less than $6.00.
Additional details, more pictures, and a PDF instruction/pattern file are on my blog under 'DIY'. http://RebelInker.blogspot.com
Hope this can be useful to someone else!

This is so cool- I too cannot afford the $40-60 for these holders. I also saw some of the modification people have done to it from your blog. Off to make some ribbon holders.

What a great idea! Thanks for sharing the pattern. I made two and then it inspired me to make a holder for my punches out of foam board.

I loved this so much I made TWO! And, it inspired me to make a holder for my punches and DSP out of foam. Such a simple, inexpensive solution. Two thumbs up!!

This is fantastic... a money saver! I'm a fairly new demo and have been eyeing the caddy, but like you and many other hate to spend that much for plastic. This is awesome.. you could even decorate the end pieces! Thank you so much for sharing!

I also made this about 9 months ago and absolutely love it! It fits perfect on my craft table and my ink pads are at my fingertips. I can see all colors at once without open/closing or spinning another carrier. Angela
