Thank you Julia and Rox for the time you take to host and organize these wonderful challenges. Its been awhile since I've been able to join any challenges. Its good to be back! I've combined yesterday's SC130 with today's WT119.
For the scalloped edge, I used a Fiskar's template and Shape Cutter blade on a cutting mat. Fancied it up somewhat with white gel pen.
Main image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. Doodles along the edges hand done with thin black marker. I had to be careful when I stamped "Oh Canada" as I was too lazy to use my stamp positioner and I guess I lucked out!
BG is on ribbed glossy white cs. I brayered several layers of green and red dye inks. Then stamped the maple leaf in brown.

sooo good to see your wonderful artwork back on here again!! this is so pretty. i was wondering about the source of that great designer paper and then read your description and realized you did it yourself. wow! i love the ribbed texture. beautiful card, crissy!

Great job, Crissy!!! I love the technique you did with the background paper! I had to laugh when I saw it though, because I just posted my card using the same image!!! Great minds think alike, right?? Hahaha!!
