This week's Ways to Use it Challenge is a celebration of France, in commemoration of the opening of the Eiffel Tower. I have an Eiffel Tower stamp that is just a touch too big for an A2 card, so I made a mini slimline and it fit perfectly. I began with a patterned paper with a subtle print to it, and computer printed Merci repeatedly down the side. Then I stamped and heat embossed the tower. I used a cool blue/silver metallic ribbon/fiber down the left side. The pattern paper is matted on a blue metallic paper, then on a white card with just a tiny bit of reveal around the edges. The tag is cut from the same blue paper. I wanted to stamp a fleur de lis on the tag (I'm convinced I own such a stamp, but I couldn't find it, so I substituted this stylized image that could maybe be a fleur de lis???) So, if you don't have an Eiffel Tower, use what you have that says "France" to you.
