Jen has me hooked on sunsets after her VSN challenge! The trees are a background stamp, they are also stamped on the black card with VersaMark and I did popping pastels with grey but you canÂ’t see it very well, nice idea that didnÂ’t materialize!
The panel is: trees stamped with StazOn, sun stamped with the rock and roll technique then stamped again with VersaMark and allowed to dry; I used a heat tool to speed it up. Using the large Big and Juicy spectrum pad and a six inch brayer I ink up the one end going the opposite direction with the lightest color then turn the brayer the way I’ll use it on the card and ink up the remainder of the roller; this was to avoid getting to much teal at the top. Then brayer onto the cardstock and the panel is finished. The tree panel is 2” wide.
Rush'd Lady has a lonesome nephew in the military and this card is going out to him!

Oooooooh, Roxie, I just love this and that is one lucky military guy who is gonna receive it! Did you do the brayer part first, then the sun, then the trees, or was masking involved....I would like to give this a try sometime....it is just awesome!
