To make the barnboard look - I dragged my Stormy Sky Distress ink pad down a panel of white card stock. Then I masked off a section for the shed and dragged my Frayed Burlap ink pad down that section.
I drew all the board lines with a black watercolor pencil but then also scored along those black lines. Then I rubbed a damp paper towel down the panel to smudge the lines a bit.
I cut a roof and hinges out of black paper, added the die cut cats and grass (that I sponged with Frayed burlap a bit) and added a Neutral Candy dot for the door handle. I added dots of silver Wink of Stella to the hinges as screws but they don't show up very well.
I stamped the sentiment on a strip and added a little black clay heart. The strip is popped up on foam dots as well as two of the kitties.

Julia, I totally, totally love this and put it in my faves. I had a brief glimmer of doing something like this when I saw that fence, but...it left fast as I knew I could not do it justice. You totally did it justice. GREAT card. Hugz
