Thanks so much Anita for hosting the Teapotter Challenge...our cards go out to a good Samaritan this week, who paid utility bills for a number of families this past Christmas. We are sending cards that show the light.
This card also fits the Sketch Challenge this week (SC794). Thank you Ally. I was able to resize your hexagons to fit my cool Club Scrap stamps from their 'Steamworks' set. I used the awesome hanging light blue, coloring the filament with 2 shades of Copics and adding 3 layers of Glossy Accents. The metal socket was stamped and embossed with Stampendous Mixed Media Aged Teal power which is a mix of metallic and teal blue. The sentiment was stamped with the Majestic Blue (VersaFine) and embossed with Clear Detail. I used gelatos over the top of the sentiment to fade from night to daylight. The hexagons of the SC were sprayed the Tattered Angels 'Sunlight' and dry embossed with the Tim Holtz Sun Folder. The stock # of the light bulb was used as the third element of the sketch along with the gingham navy trim. I like how the Basic Grey 'Recess' paper adds a bit of 'figuring' to the background.
It will be so fun to give back, in a small way, to the good Samaritan, who brought cheer to families out of the abundance of his heart! Thanks so much for stopping by, I appreciate the time and gift of your comments.

This is just fantastic Susan! I really love this sentiment (so true!) and I love this card design with the added sparkle and shine. Michael will love this! ~Karen.
