This weeks' Color Challenge is a modern '60's oranges and watery turquoise. Thank you, Stef for encouraging us to have a fresh look at these hues. I chose dessert as well, using my handmade paper as texture.
The Featured Stamper is a very talented long time member of our community. niki1, Monique! Thank you Nancy. I actually got lost in Monique's gallery...so so many wonderful 3D projects as well as lovely cards. Monique also links up the tutorials or you tube videos if one is interested.
I chose this beautiful Fashion needs alot of Imagination to case. Monique credited Lauren Maurer for the fashion dresses. I loved the loose watercolored dresses. And the nine panel.
I decided to use Pepin's (French) 1950 Fashions paper. And played paper dolls, choosing the orange colorway. It was fun to fussy cut. My card is divided into 9 blocks. Can you see it? Well, the middle 3 is slightly artistic license...Both women are divided into thirds. The middle three includes an empty panel spotlighting that gorgeous hand made paper, the Audrey Hepburn quote is in the middle middle third, and my sweet little cowgirl fits right there next to her fashionable mama. She's sporting her very own wrangler outfit!
Monique, I hope you enjoy the cards that will fill your gallery. You are one very talented paper engineer! Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate your comments. I am not one to wear orange, but it sure looks lovely on these French fashion plates!

Your fashion cards always remind me of my dress-making days. I love the old vintage patterns. The colours are great. That must have been some cool paper Jean sent you.
