Angie's (ohmypapers!) Free for All challenge yesterday was to create big autumn coloured flowers.
This fun Grazia Salvo image has the girl holding a big basket of flowers.....I did a terrible job at the flowers, but instead of chucking it out, I kept it so I could practice colouring eyes.
Five minutes later she looked even worse so I put it in my recycle stash.
Enter Angie's inspiration challenge....The minute I saw that happy pineapple, I knew how I could salvage this.
I lopped off the contents of the basket, gave her a pair of sunnies and coloured her hair aqua. Job done.
Thank you for looking and I hope something inspires you to get inky soon.

Glad this little lady got recycled into a project. That hair is fabulous.

How come I didn't get notified on this upload... I love that you kept a double fail and turned her into a winner. You may have messed up the flowers but losing them made her the right size for a card, and you always do a fantastic job with hair.

Susie, that really is a lovely image and you definitely did her justice! super fun and fresh with the color choices. everyone has already said it all, you are inspiring and I own Prismacolour pencils, what's wrong with me? ahhahah I will keep trying, that's for sure. ALSO, I love that die cut, you didn't mention the maker, and if you can share that, I would appreciate it. it is just perfect choice keeping your subject matter like a photo, to me anyway.
enjoy a great day, Teresa
