What do you do when you celebrate Mother's Day late, but you didn't have your act together enough to buy a card at the store in May? You go see the resident cardmaker in your office. LOL! One of my coworkers told me the other day "I have a strange card request". I told him those are my favorite. But this wasn't that strange. His parents are coming home from spending the winter in FL and they will celebrate Mother's Day then. He told me she likes tennis and golf. I don't have any tennis stamps, so I decided to just change my Father's Day "Best Dad By Par" to "Best Mom By Par". Plus, this way I could make a pretty golf course with flowers on it. The problem was that I don't have any golf flag stamps. So I made myself one. I drew this flag in Procreate and made sure it was kind of sketchy to match my golf bag image. Then I sponged the sky and flicked on the tall grass and wildflowers. Carla's challenge stumped me a bit this morning, until I realized I could make a sand trap with actual sand. So I glued some sand to some white paper and attached it at the bottom. I hope it stays on. It seems stuck on well with the Tombow glue.
