I've been checking my mailbox with great anticipation this week. Susan (One4Joy) and I swapped elements for a "Creative Swap Challenge" using this week's Sketch Challenge. I was in craft heaven when I opened her envelope! I abandoned my gardening and went straight to the craft room to play.
The gorgeous mixed media bg and striking shell took me straight to the seashore. I had added inspiration from this week's Inspiration challenge. The vivid turquoise and netting these lights caught my eye. Added to this week's WTUI It's a White Out challenge, since Susan stamped with white ink.
I love Susan's bg, so I flipped the sketch to highlight the gorgeous colors and pattern. I tore a strip off the bottom to mimic a wave, mounted on a teal panel and wrapped with a piece of produce bag. Adhered the panels to a white card base. I tucked a sentiment tag and seashell into the netting and finished it off with some sea glass.

Beautiful! It looks to me like it should hang on a gallery wall! Now, you best get back to gardening so your lovelies have plenty of time to grow and bloom, but I hope you get back in the craft room stat to share more of your creations with us! :0)
