This is a baby girl shower card for my youngest daugther, who is expecting her first child, and our second grandbaby. To add more depth of color, I colored all the dress ruffles, collar and cuffs on the paper and fussy-cuts with Copic markers. Doing some challenge browsing before I began enabled me to enter her card into nine challenges, as follows:
#1. WT723 - Ways to Use It, "I Hereby Resolve" - 1/17/18. Make a card based on a 2019 resolution about your cardmaking. I am determined to use up my old stash of dsp; use under-used supplies, and focus on finishing priority cards on time, such as this baby shower card for my daughter!
#2. MMTPT545 - Teapot Tuesday Challenge, "In the the New" - 1/1/19. Use four (4) things starting with letters in the words HAPPY NEW YEAR. Card design and who it goes to are your choice. Used: pink, patterned paper, pearls, punch, popped up, ribbon, and adhesives.
#3. AOCC19JAN - All Occasion Card Challenge, "January 2019" - 1/1/19. A shower card for my daughter.
#4. FS620 - Featured Stamper, "lacyquilter" aka Melody. Used her card layout, vintage style, and color as guides for my card with some changes in layout, added colors and embellishments.
#5. IC681 - Inspiration Challenge, "The Lakeside Collection" - 12/22/18. My inspiration is a cute little pink dress for a newborn real life doll.
#6. SC727 - Sketch Challenge - 12/12/18. Moved one band vertically instead of horizontal and changed the other to a horizontal ribbon rather than paper. I also rotated the oval.
#7. CT0918 - Fan Club Monthly Themes - September 2018, "Cutting Class" - 9/17/18. I used fussy-cutting with scissors, die-cutting, and punch cutting.
#8. F4A426 - Free for All Challenge, "Go Ahead & Get Fussy" - 4/20/18. Use required fussy cutting.
#9. USEIT2019 - Use It Challenge - ongoing. Used very old stash of patterned paper, old seam binding ribbon, and old and long unused dies for eyelet oval, pennant banners, and word sentiment.
Ingredients: SU Paper: Cardstock, Gingham Gala (balmy blue). Other: Patterned Paper. Dies: MFT Stitched Scalloped Edges; Eyelet Oval; Hero Arts: Thank You Messages Frame Cuts. Punch: WRMK Corner: Deco. Copic Coloring (paper dresses, gems). Ribbon: 5/8" seam binding. Pearl Gems (natural & colored). Chatterbox verse. Fussy-cutting. Size: 4-3/4" x 6."

Your dp bg is really sweet....I've never seen anything like it! I like the use of your gingham adding in some blue even though your daughter is having a girl. Very pretty baby card, Carlene~

You are such a good cardmaker, Carlene! This is so sweet with the gingham paper and colors you chose. Sorry to hear about your hand issues though. Congrats on your upcoming grandaughter!
