And for one of my most stressful cards to make each year... :-) It took a while to decide how to start this year's anniversary card for my beloved husband. We have a plethora of wedding invitations left, due to the printing companies mistake, and as such I have made it my mission to use a particular piece from those invitations for our anniversary card each year. Waste not, want not, right? In particular, I make sure I use the gold embossed pinecone. But, like last year's card, I also made ample use of the beautiful ivory cardstock our invitations were printed on - in fact, if you peeled off the face of this card, you would find the embossed text of our invite itself appearing on the other sides of what you see facing out!
This one felt a bit last-minute, as usually I at least shoot to have this card done a week ahead of our special day (preferably a month ahead! Lol), but hey, finishing it day-day-of works, too. ;)
Thank you to our wonderful hostesses for the helpful inspiration this week that enabled me to throw this together and actually commit to a design (committing to my husband was easy; committing to what to make for him for a card on our anniversary, his birthday, or Valentine's day is anything but! HA!)
