WT714 challenge-Make a Mess...Or Not
Use splatters on your card
Ooh, I love this challenge. This is my favorite kind of card to make....ones with winter scenes with lots of snow and, of course, snowman cards (which I don't have on this one).
Very appropriate card, also. It is so cold here and even had sleet last night in my area of the south...no snow. I got up early this morning and turned on a heater out in the garage for some unfortunate folks doing some work out there. I feel bad for them.
I did my splattering with a toothbrush and Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White. I love it and add a little water to get the right consistency. The snow is splattered over the complete scene though it may be hard to see in the snowbanks.
Made a template for my snowbanks and sponged them. I gave them little wisps with my blender brush thinking that made them more realistic. Stamped my trees and added a die cut deer. He looks good and frosty out there.
I cut off a lot of my watercolored sky in order to make this design.
At the bottom of my scene, I cut off a narrow piece of chipboard and placed it as I thought it need something to finish the scene and then add a sentiment.

Great layout...like the way your scene plus your sentiment are equally focal points! Beautiful snowy sponged hills and petite star sparkly sky. Your deer and trees seem as though viewed through a snowstorm giving a kind of dreamy feeling!
