August seems like a blur. It was one of those crazy months for us. We had a tub/shower renovated to a walk-in shower, and it is nearly done - after almost six weeks (with so many delays and issues). We'll be so happy to be able to use it later this week. Sigh.
But I did find time to make a Christmas card for the Fan Club/Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge for September. I had started to use this sweet little angel for August and got sidetracked repeatedly. I was determined to finish it for this month's challenge, and it still worked. Coloring is done using Copic markers and some added pencil coloring. I went very CAS and matted the layers with red and popped the focal image over a sweet holly embossed base (to match the holly in her hair).
Thanks, Stacy, for another great challenge for the Fan Club/Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge. I am so happy to be making Christmas cards throughout the year! My stash is growing all the time, and I love it!
A big thanks for taking a closer look at my card! Wishing you all a wonderful rest of the week and a happy September! Hugs, all! xoxo

What a beautiful Christmas card this is Cheryl with this darling, darling angel. I am so glad you persevered and finished this card with your little angel here because it is a show stopper my friend. I love the texture with the embossing and scalloped layers and the shimmer on the angels wings. I want to thank you for your wonderful comments on my water lily card Cheryl- you are so kind and I appreciate it. Hugs mf, Karen.
Hi, Cheryl ! I was so happy to see your comments to my gallery and my blog but I couldn't have some free time to reply to you, lols. I'm now very happy again to see your new card. Wow it is so darling ! Love the dry embossed background and how you placed the main image on top of it.
