September has been a fun month and has quickly vanished before my very eyes. I'm sad because this is the fourth and final week of my time as a guest designer. It's also the last week of September, summer is gone and fall is upon us. At least Stef gave us some wonderful colors, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, and Fresh Fig. Unfortunately, I didn't have any of the colors so I got as close as I could. I wasn't sure about the dessert being metallic so I hope my metal wheelbarrow will get me some cookies. When these little Critters finish with their square dance, I think they'll have worked up an appetite from all the picking and playing.
Stamps are stampourri artist Lisa Hindsley.

Techniques
I tried Dini's tutorial to watercolor the image and then use pencils.
*I first used SU markers and a aqua brush with the basic black.
*Next I used prisms pencils to color the animals and shade the straw...this wasn't the easiest thing I've tried lately...get ready for the colors.
Canary yellow # 916, Spanish Orange #1003, Peach Clair # 927,
Goldenrod # 1034, Siena Brown # 946, warm gray # 1054, & # 1056, and
Parma Violet # 932, Mulberry # 995, Rouge Pavot # 922, White # 11. Wow!!!
I used black memories ink to stamp the animals and Versa Mark for the signs and embossed with brown embossing powder.
Thanks for looking. Please take a minute to leave a comment, I always enjoy hearing what you talented ladies have to say.
Happy Stamping... see you in the gallery Tonda

How fabulous is this!!! We don't have squirrels here, so I always love seeing them in Splitcoaststamperville. I love that your little chaps are at a square dance. The scene you have created is truly wonderful Tonda. I am yet to tackle an easel card, you have inspired me to get busy. Thanks for all the details too, I always love reading the process as much as I love seeing cards. You were a fabulous guest designer!!!

This is such a fun card! Love the rock-a-billy squirrels and those hand-cut signs are absolutely perfect for this card. There are so many fun details, they all work together to make an amazing card....and that it is an easel style card kicks it up another notch. Love, love, love this card! TFS
