I have not pulled out my quilling papers in AT LEAST 15 - 20 years. And although I made quite a few cards back in the day, I never invested in a quilling tool. - The girl who taught me & my friends said "Bring a tool if you have one - if not and you have alot of patience, you can do it on the end of a round toothpick!" Well, way back then I had alot more patience than money so that's how I learned to quill! It still works for me today . . .

Wow!!! Now I see what you meant in your comment (I got a synopsis of each days posts to the thread in my email) about being glad you were up early. That must have taken quite some time. And sheesh, I can't imagine how you do it with just a toothpick and not the little slit in the end of the tool. What a fabulous card, Linda! I hope you deliver it by hand so that the hydrangea arrives fresh and undamaged .
