We have reached a milestone this week in the Color Challenge! It's #600, and a big event! Each team member has selected one of her previous color combos, and we are giving you another opportunity to make a card with those colors. There might even be some prizes in store!
I am revisiting CC595, and asking you to make a card or other project using Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, and Mossy Meadow. The dessert option was Summer Treats. We are in the last days of summer, so please get a little nostalgic and find some inspiration from delights of the past couple of months.
My card features a big tag and greeting made from Avery Elle's A Tag for All Elle-ments die set. This is a top-folding card, created by careful placement of the tag die on the fold of the cardstock. For my circular panel, I used the wrinkle-free distress technique, with Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters, and Mustard Seed Distress inks on watercolor paper, then cut with a Sizzix die. The flowers were made using MFT's Upsy-Daisy dies, each sponged with its corresponding ink color. I used a fine-tip black marker to outline the portion of the greeting that seemed to fade a bit into the light background. Two-color twisted cord to finish it off!
Thanks for stopping by, and please help us celebrate our 600th challenge this week!
