I was trying to strive for the magical forests that Susie Australia always creates. After coloring the bird with copics and pencils, I dripped reinkers on the mixed media paper and sponged over that when dry with various inks, stamped the Jofy, the PB tree and the wild flowers. Stamped the bird on the cardbase and fussy cut the colored image. I formed his glasses with wire, then filled with Glossy Accents. I used Cosmic Shimmer paints to color the berries which had been embossed and to my delight, they are opaque and covered the black. They have a gorgeous shimmer to them. This one was fun to do. Thanks for stopping by.

I always check your gallery...how did I miss this amazing creation. Those wire glasses are so cool. Forget the nerdy glasses thing- yours are so much fun. Your magical green misty bg looks great, and I love the berries. Faved.

Oh, dear Nancy! I like Anne Ryan am so glad to see you back in the gallery! And what a delightful card, to say the least! You truly have "challenged" my dear sis, Susie. She will love seeing this when she returns. It's amazing, and I love the background that is perfect along with the beautiful things you've stamped and added the berries. And the bird - WOW! I love him and love his glasses - giggle! Your coloring of him is fabulous too!! Yes, he's going to make someone smile big for their birthday! Hugs, sweet friend!
