This is for my new little great-niece Milla Elizabeth. Milla's beautiful mum, Kristy, is the only member of my entire family that keeps cards LOL so it was a genuine honour to spend so much time making this.
The fold is a standard side step card, but instead of having the steps to the side, you cut it twice so the steps end up in the middle.
The legs were made using a Stampin Up tag punch. The little dresses were hand drawn and cut out, using distress ink to give the illusion of pleats, lace was added to the hems.
The coat handers were made with jewellry wire, they took about 10 seconds to make. Had I known how quick and easy they are to make I wouldn't own 10 packets of expensive shop bought ones (that are too big) LOL.
The card base is very heavy craft card, I painted it with Distress paint to give a vintage look. I noticed the rough scored card at the top of the wardrobe, I have since filed that off.
This was a real joy to make, thank you for looking.

An adorable, phenomenal, little treasure, Susie. It would break my heart to think of someone tossing this, but I truly don't think the non card keepers would be able to part with such a little masterpiece. In a hundred years, someone may find this amongst granny's attic keepsakes

Wow, Susie, this was a positive JOY to behold - so glad Milla, your grand niece's Mum saves your cards - this one is so super special, Milla will be squealing with delight! You attention to such detail - you MADE those hangers!!! - and the lace trim on the dresses is DARLING! I love that the doors have such a beautiful pattern on them and all the textured drawers look perfect with the sponging around the edges - Definitely a card made with SO MUCH LOVE! Worth every minute!!
