I love today's Color Challenge palette, and I even had dessert with some leaves. Up north leaves are starting to turn, so it was fun to color these oak leaves (even though I've not seen fall for more than 25 years). This is the new Power Poppy Instant Garden digital image and sentiment, and I this is my first (feeble) attempt at no-line coloring, and I'm not sure I did a great job. But we have to start somewhere, right? I used the out-of-the-box technique, added some piercing, and also embossed the background to add some texture. More information on my blog.
Well, that's it for now. Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a wonderful week! Hugs!

Me again....I googled Florida and Autumn.....hmmmmm seems that is two words never used in the same sentence. I just showed a friend your gorgeous card, and like me, she is in awe of your talent Cheryl. On the 50th viewing of this gem, I realised that this is fussy cut!!! WOW!!!

You've done an amazing job on this Cheryl.... I think anything you try would be fantastic though.... The embossed texture and the piercing only add to it's beauty. I love the changing of the colors in Fall, it is my favorite time of year.

Cheryl...If this is what happens when you make a feeble attempt at the out-of-the-box technique, then may I suggest that you jump out of a few more boxes and by all means share your results, because, my dear, this is AMAZING!!!!! And we would all definitely love to see your results! I love that you divided the sentiment (such a talented touch) and that you colored the olives green and purple. Your piercing...Perfect!

Amazing colours. Will have to check out "no line colouring". Lovely shading on the oak leaves and the little acorns too. I do love seeing your wonderful creations.
